Candidate Statement Form:

Your statement can be up to 250 words. Please submit separate forms for each position. You can apply for up to three positions. Please submit your statements by INSERT DATE

A candidate statement explains why you are running for that officer position. Your statement should tell people your qualifications and experience, so we know why we should vote for you. You should also state the reasons you are running for this officer position. We want to know your goals and objectives (what you will do), so be sure to include those. Talk about what changes you might make if elected. And lastly, explain how the club would benefit from your being club officer.

When writing your candidate, introduce yourself. Grab your audience’s attention with a question or a fact. When closing your statement, ask everyone for their vote, include any closing remarks, and thank everyone for their help and support during the election.
